I am not sure how long my story needs to be, but here is my story:

I am definitley not naturally thin, though many think I am; I work hard everyday to stay fit and healthy, but I also have lots of fun doing it. I used to be fairly thin when I was a kid, but I started getting overweight when I became a teenager and I continued gaining weight through highschool and college. Finally one day I realized I was heading down the wrong path, the obesity path that my family members were going down, and I sure didn't want all the health problems that they had. You see, my mom was constantly on a yo-yo diet, ever since I can remember. She was always on some type of diet to lose weight. Her sisters were even heavier, and still are to this day; my mom has started living a healthy lifestyle, though, and is much healthier and fitter now.

Well, I continued to gain weight in college with all the "wonderful" cafeteria food, and I ended up getting gall bladder problems, and that was my wake-up call. I decided to do something once I finished college. I researched books and started a program called "Chris Imbo's Peak 10 Fitness". I followed their nutrition plan and I started jogging and doing their weight-lifting program. I started losing weight and got fitter and fitter every day. I stopped the program after my first husband left me, though, and later joined a gym. But, life got in the way, and I stopped going to the gym after about 3-4 months. Then I got pregnant. I knew I needed to be fit and healthy for my baby, so I got a program that I did all through my pregnancy, and had a fit, healthy and energetic pregnancy. I kept on walking after I had my little boy and I lost the weight quickly. I maintained my weight, but noticed I was losing muscle mass since I wasn't doing any strenght training, so I decided to look into programs that would help me with that. I found some fun workout programs through a company called BeachBody and have been doing these programs ever since 2007. I've been following the health and fitness road ever since then and never plan to go back. You see, I am not naturally thin, but I am now committed to live a fit and healthy lifestyle so that I can be energetic and healthy everyday. I need that as a mom! ;)
