Dr. Seuss in Spanish Event!

March is Dr. Seuss month. My daughter's preschool had a Dr. Seuss Day in celebration of his birthday! Now my daughter's foreign language instructor is offering a Dr. Seuss in Spanish event. As a parent, I believe that I should take advantage of any opportunity for my daughter to learn a foreign language, especially if it is connected to her own experiences, something she can relate to….

The Dr. Seuss collection was published in a Spanish version. Claudia of CK Translations and Easy Learn Lanuages, worked on her own version in Portuguese. She found that her students immediately connect with the book and a subject they are accustom to seeing and hearing in their individual schools.

For the month of March, Easy Learn Languages is offering Dr. Seuss books in Spanish in their classes. To celebrate the author and his legacy, there will be a free event @ the West Deptford, NJ location on Friday, March 19th @ 5pm. The event will include Storytime, refreshments and a craft. I hope to see all you Dr. Seuss lovers there! Come and join us or puchase the book and share with your child! My daughter and I are so there!
