We all have a tendency to ignore those baking items in our pantry, the dried herbs & spices in our cabinets, and the foods we stored for a rainy day in the freezer. Having the "Sharpie Marker "on hand is a huge help when you are doing that "Spring Cleaning" of the pantry/fridge & freezer!

The Sleep Solution: 4 Ways to Get the Rest You Need to Boost Results!

By Denis Faye

Sometimes, people get so caught up in hammering workouts and cutting calories that they forget that half of getting great results is recovery. And one of the greatest tools in the recovery arsenal is a good night's sleep. It heals your mind and your body and, frankly, just makes you feel good.

Lost and Found

Are you feeling lost and frustrated as a stepmom? Are you wondering where the old fun-loving you went? Do you find yourself asking yourself questions such as:

  • Who am I?
  • What do I want?
  • How did I get here?
  • Where am I going?

It was wonderful, brief as it was, but now I'm back home, nose to the grindstone, feeling a little more solidly grounded in who I am today because of my visit.

A couple little catch phrases that have been echoing with me lately are "Ya never know until you try." And "If you need something done, ask a busy mom."… Continue

Mommy Meltdown

I may have had the worse mommy meltdown about a week ago. Wondering if I am doing enough, too much, or not enough........ Then at the end of the day when my son walks up to me ---hugs me and says "you are the best mommy in the whole world," the self doubt seems to fade away.
