I have enjoyed my Beyond the Bus Stop meetings! I remember very
clearly the welcome I received at the very first meeting. They say
you have 15 seconds to make a first impression. I will always
remember Rosemarie coming across the room towards me and
recognizing my face from the website! How refreshing!!! That in
itself was worth the weight in gold. The meetings are an open
arena, where no judgment is displayed. Positive tones are more then
evident at each meeting. People are sincere, honest and we
encourage our fellow women to be strong and take action in their
lives. I like how diversified the group is and each meeting has a

While preparing for my meeting I started to write down the
positive reasons to join Beyond the Bus Stop. I quickly realized
how much I have grown in just the last few weeks thanks to being
part of Beyond the Bus Stop. I feel better physically because of
the support for health and fitness! I am running further,
doing my P90X and I know so many other women are fighting the
same battle. I feel better mentally because I am making new friends
and not hiding from finding what is out there Beyond the Bus Stop
for me. I really think I am walking taller and find myself smiling
more and more each day. I have even seen a positive change in my
relationship with my kids. My kid's see "Darla" and not a tired,
frustrated and unfit mom. Also, I have better communication with my
husband too. Thank you Suzy and all the Beyond the Bus Stop

What a joy to be part of the meeting last night! Being new to
this area, I really appreciate the invite and look forward to
attending more meetings and meeting new people. What a great vibe I
got from the ladies last night.....great personalities, strong
characters, warm hearts and real people!! We can grow and learn in
so many ways from each other. I have to tell you.....you are on to

I was nervous and excited when I came to my first Beyond the Bus
Stop meeting. In one way or the other I could relate to all the
women in the room. I have always had a list of things I wanted to
do. I wanted children and I wanted a career too. But, my career did
not allow me to be a mother. I put my career on hold to be a full
time mom. I have out a lot of things on hold and stopped being a
woman. I have tried to find balance but, have lost myself. I am
looking forward to this group being the support that I need.~Vicki
